The art of play
We are the kings of play.
Games, made as art. Objects of strategy, chance and ritual, with a lasting place in the home.
Made to be played. Made to be seen.
A game can be more than an object on a table. It can be sculpture, furniture, illustration and craft. Kings of Play brings these worlds together through a considered selection of chess, backgammon, playing cards and games tables.
A meeting point between artist and player.
We are drawn to a strong point of view: a material used with purpose, an unexpected silhouette, a pattern worth looking at twice. The pleasure is in discovering the details and returning to them through play.
